City Tax

Rates and Exemptions

The Municipal Council, with resolution No. 22 of 12.11.2014, established the tourist tax, starting from the year 2015. The proceeds from the tax are intended to fund tourism-related initiatives and the promotion of the Municipality and represent an opportunity given to public entities to enhance their territory by offering better and more services to citizens and tourists. The prerequisite for the tourist tax is an overnight stay in hospitality facilities, both hotel and non-hotel, located within the municipal territory of Ascea. The tax is due for each overnight stay in the mentioned facilities from May 1st to October 30th each year. The amount of the tax is determined per person. The municipal regulation regarding the tourist tax was modified and integrated with the Municipal Council resolution of December 31, 2024.
